After my diagnosis, I walked into the bank and the teller could see it on my face. She walked into her office and brought out a flier for Snow Approach. My husband George flipped the pages and said ‘We should give it a try.’
I’m a doer, and after [my diagnosis], I was afraid of sitting alone for months on end. I come to Snow Approach nearly every day now. They gave me my purpose back.
Louise first came to Snow Approach after being diagnosed in early 2024. She volunteers time nearly every day here at our space, giving and receiving support.
