An Inclusive Community for Education, Advocacy, Personal Growth, and Mutual Support
We are a small, but mighty, group trying to break the stigma of dementia and brain change so that we can better support everyone in this community!
Background Story of Teepa Snow in North Carolina:
Teepa Snow, a world renowned dementia master educator and trainer will begin to “retire” by dividing her time between her company, Positive Approach to Care® (PAC), and this new non-profit titled Snow Approach Foundation, Inc. Together, we will volunteer time and space for trainings, consultations, and engagement events in the local community. She wants to use her fame, intellectual property, and training skill, and her team to create a legacy program that will continue to benefit the people of Hillsborough, North Carolina, and the global community facing the challenges of neurodegeneration.
The Snow Approach Foundation, Inc.’s mission is to provide educational and engagement opportunities that use the Snow Approach techniques to build and support a neurodiverse, inclusive community that adapts to changing brains.
Our Current Volunteer Team:
Teepa Snow - Master Trainer, Educator, and Advocate
Heather McKay - Research, Education, and Consulting
Amanda Bulgarelli - Educator, Event and Community Coordinator
Abby Snow - Engagement Leader and Spanish Language Educator
Benji and Braden - Intergenerational Art and Engagement Leaders
We are currently seeking individuals connected or living with neurodiverse or neurodegenerative conditions in the community who would like to volunteer time to engage in our educational, community inclusive, or training offerings.
