The Art of Moving Meditation Tai Chi is a meditative practice of gentle moments, breathwork and a focused mind. Deeply interwoven in Tai Chi is the Tao, the Chinese philosophy of balance and harmony. This combination promotes physical and mental well-being, which will bring about a sense of tranquility and inner peace. Studies have shown this practice to be a cardio workout that promotes balance, flexibility, strength, and self-awareness. The form we shall be practicing is a modified Yang long-form. There will be 108 moves, many of which are repeats. Wear comfortable clothes and sensible shoes.
