Beginner’s Sewing Course in Hillsborough

A beginner’s sewing course is being offered by Kelli Kurtovic of Circles and Symmetry, LLC on Sunday 8/10 from 2:00-5:30PM in Hillsborough, NC at Snow Approach Foundation.

You’ll learn the basic functions of most sewing machines, how to sew straight lines and curves, and how to make a basic drawstring bag. The class will be limited to 6 people so that I can provide one-on-one assistance during the class.

Requirements for participants

• Must be 16+ years old.
• Must have use of a sewing machine with a hard copy of the manual or the ability to get the manual online. I’ll need to know the make and model prior to the class.
• Able to purchase basic sewing supplies such as a piece of fabric, thread, ribbon, scissors, pins, and a hem ruler. A specific supply list will be provided (supplies will be relatively inexpensive and readily available at most Walmart or Michaels stores).
