Deeply interwoven in Tai Chi is the Tao\, the Chinese philosophy of balance and harmony. This combination promotes physical and mental well-being\, which will bring about a sense of tranquility and inner peace. Studies have shown this practice to be a cardio workout that promotes balance\, flexibility\, strength\, and self-awareness. The form we shall be practicing is a modified Yang long-form.
